It can also be used for terrestrial applications. The equipment can range from light finder scopes and guider scopes to heavy telephoto lenses.

- Allow user to safely & firmly mount and fine-tune auxilliary optics ranging from lightweight finder scopes to massive guiding telescopes
- Also can be mounted to the larger Losmandy by using an adapter #2450316 not included
- Has a stainless-steel locking dowel is fastened in a spring-loaded bracket inside the azimuth blocks
- Due to adjustment screws the optical axis of the auxilliary instrument (e.g. Vario Finder, camera lens, spotting scope, guiding-telescope or similar) may be fine-tuned accurately
- Featuring four exterior locking screws serve to adjust it, by means of loosening one screw and counter locking the opposite one
