Barr and Stroud Sierra 20-60x84ED Deluxe Spotting Scope with Binoview : The high end 20-60x84ED Spotting Scope is designed for the demanding birdwatcher and nature observer. The spotting scope is well suited for birdwatcher, nature lovers, wild life observers and general use. The scope is lightweight, robust magnesium alloy body with stylish rubber housing to enhance level of protection against shocks, scratches and knocks.
High quality Japanese extra low dispersion glass element is utilized in the objective lens construction to provide images virtually free from chromatic aberrations, delivering high-fidelity true colour images. High quality phase coated Bak-4 prisms deliver edge to edge sharp images. A Binoviewer is supplied In addition to the standard zoom eyepiece. The Binoviewer is installed in place of the standard zoom eyepiece for the comfort and convenience of binocular viewing. The spotting scope offer 45° angled viewing position for comfortable and stressless observations. Very high quality 20-60x Super Wide Angle zoom eyepiece is supplied with twist-up eyecup. The eyepiece incorporates an aspheric lens surface which corrects for spherical aberrations.
The eyepiece is held securely in a brass compression locking ring. The spotting scope will also accept virtually any 1.25" push-fit telescope eyepiece for exceptional versatility. Built-in rotating tripod port for target shooters and a retractable lens shade is provided. Includes a photo lens adaptor for digiscoping. Wide knurled collar and smooth focusing wheel is provided for smart, convenient and intuitive focusing. The scope comes with two 32mm plossl eyepieces and a 1.8x barlow lens providing 28.8x magnification.
The scope is water proof and nitrogen purged to avoid internal fogging and to be used in all weather conditions. The spotting scope is supplied with stay-on carrying case for safe storage, comfortable transportation and all weather applications.
