This spotting scope ideal for the outside fantastic activities like bird watching, camping, sport watching and even surveillance. Barr and Stroud Spotting Scopes is armored with the rubber which protects the scope from scratches and accidental damages of regular use.
With the large 80mm objective lens of made of BAK-4 prism, the scope ensures high quality view. BAK-4 prisms are made of superior optical glass that produces clear and vivid images. Fully multi coated lenses mean that all air to glass surfaces have received multiple layers of anti-reflective coatings which is usually found on expensive optics.
This scope is water and fog proof (Nitrogen filled) thus it is durable in high humid temperature. With the included sunshade which slides over the objective lens of the scope it blocks the UV rays. The Barr and Stroud Spotting Scope comes with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece which itself delivers sharp images at long and short range whiile offering plenty of flexibility. The field of view at 1000 meter ranges from 29.6m at the 20x magnification and ranges to 15 meter at 60x magnification.
