This high-quality, high-precision lenses have less air bubbles and glass deformities in them that are more likely to cause image distortion. So basically the extra low dispersion glass prevents chromatic aberration because it concentrates and directs the wavelength of light more efficiently onto observer eyes.
It incorporates superb quality BaK-4 roof prisms meaning that they are made of High Density Opticcal Glass a set of phase correction coatings prism, Extra Low Dispersion glass lenses (ED) and full multi-coated optics ensuring you get a high-contrast and edge to edge sharp images over the entire field of view. The open bridge design has a number of advantages over the more traditional designs currently available. The most obvious is the ease of handling that this design allows ergonomically it is a perfect fit with the human hand. This makes it easy and comfortable to use in the most gruelling circumstances and particularly with gloved hands. It reduces the weight of binoculars and makes it ideal for hikers, walkers, holidaymakers or service personnel.
It is waterproof to a depth 1.5m of water for three minutes, plenty of time to retrieve them if you have dropped them in a stream or puddle.
