I admit to being mildly sceptical the price quoted was considerably lower than anything I could obtain locally or indeed from many other on-line outlets. However I went ahead and ordered my choice of binoculars and they were delivered well within the indicated time scale. The packaging was substantial and secure and overall I was delighted with the whole process.
I did send you an email earlier to say thank you for an excellent service I ordered the binoculars on the Monday

The binoculars are tough and very well made. They are easy to adjust, and I found them relatively easy to hold steady (just over 800 grams). The images are bright and clear, which is an advantage of the 50mm diameter object lenses. So no complaints about the bits that really matter - however, there are some criticisms of the ancilliary parts. The neck strap suppied was appaulingly tacky, and I'm not sure at all about viability of the retained object lens covers. These tend to dangle and flap irritatingly, and if the retaining bands are lined up, they meet together, resulting in the binocular eye/pupil distance adjustment being compromised. Minor points, I admit, and overall - I am happy with the purchase.
Great delivery first class comms the binoculars are not bad either for the price in fact quite good as an all round pair of binos,sturdy, a little bit heavy but i will get used to that, eye relief adjustment excellent for my eyes, focusing very precise cant wait untill i get some decent weather and then see what they can do. Again a very good buy.
The binoculars were ordered at midday and arrived the following morning, before 9am, by Royal Mail. Great service by both Microglobe and the Royal Mail.
The binoculars arrived in good condition and were put to immediate use. I use these for wildlife and they have proved to be excellant for spotting birds before attempting to focus with my 500mm lens. Close focus is also very good and light handling in poor light too. They are not heavy for carrying around with all my other equipment.
To sum it up, a great product and great service.
