Not perfect nor are they the smallest or lightest. However, if you don't want to hang them around your neck, they are small enough to slip into the pocket of a barbour jacket and not so heavy that you especially notice them.
Optically I think they're pretty good and excellent for the money.
Focussing is very smooth and they feel good in the hand.
Too soon to comment about long term durability, but early impressions are very good.
