The eyepiece camera is a high resolution digital imaging system that incorporates Sony Monochrome CCD Sensor. The camera offers exposure as fast as 0.0001 per second and high resolution of 1280x960. The monochrome camera can be connected through USB 3.0 for fast downloads and can be connected to USB 2.0. The camera fits to the 1.25" focusers. The camera body is designed such as to dissipate the heat to minimize the effect of thermal noise on the CCD. The camera offers larger detection area and provides more details even when used with smaller telescopes. The camera kit includes Celestron iCap capture software and stacking software for Windows systems.
