The portable and compact Celestron FlipView LCD Digital Microscope can be used as a handheld, tabletop, or mounted device and combines a 5MP 1/4"color CMOS sensor with infrared-reducing optical system to provide high resolution images and videos with a magnification range from 10x to 120x. A maximum of 300x magnification can be achieved on PC, while magnification of 1200x with 4x digital zoom. |

The microscope also features an illumination system of 8 white light LEDs with controllable brightness. Moreover, there is 6-position filter with red, blue, and green filters and 1mm, 3mm, and 6mm apertures that offers versatility to the microscopy. The still images with a maximum 5MP resolution, 12MP with interpolation, and VGA videos with 30 fps can be saved. An additional TBD video compression function is also available. The 3" color TFT LCD screen is deployable and can be rotated 90 by 180° to provide most convenient viewing position. |

Deploying the LCD screen allows to access a menu pad. The menu pad and control buttons offer control over the operating modes, functions, and connectivity to the PC. The microscope is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and integrates a mini-USB port, an AV video output port, and a 32GB micro-SD memory slot. The microscope is powered by a 1050 mAh rechargeable lithium ion battery, which can be charged with the included power adapter. The microscope is best for in-lab and out door observations and best for observing beach sand to bugs, coins and currency, documents, circuit boards, biological specimens etc. Also included with the microscope are an articulating stand, a carry case, a USB cable, mini-USB and AV video cables, and a CD with MicroCapture Pro, a calibration tool, and a cleaning cloth. |
