The Celestron Labs Microscope is an all-metal bodied,
low-power stereo microscope with advanced features such as high-quality
glass optics, 1x and 3x objectives, 10x and 20x eyepieces and upper and
lower illuminators. With magnification ranging from 10x to 60x, it is
possible to catch every detail on 3D objects such as coins, minerals,
insects, leaves and documents. The Microscope offers a 45°-inclined
Siedentopf head that provides an interpupillary distance adjustment of
2.25-3.25". There is a choice of two objectives and two included pairs
of wide field eyepieces, 10x and 20x, which deliver a magnification
range from 10x to 60x and enables to study samples like insects, plants,
stamps, minerals, documents, coins, or electronic devices. The eyepieces
have rubberized wing eyecups for improved viewing comfort. The two
included translucent and opaque wide round base plates are
interchangeable and offer two brightness options from the bottom lamp.
The base also has two spring-loaded clips for securely clamping down
slides or samples. To add stability and precision to opto-mechanics, the
body and mechanical stage are made of metal. Also included with the
microscope are four insect slides. Perfect for the serious student and
discriminating hobbyist, the S10-60 Stereo Microscope is well suited for
up-close viewing that will last for years. |
