Bushnell's new Legend Ultra HD 10x36 ED binoculars has three key
ingredients that could make it one of the best binoculars at
it's price: ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Prime Glass which
produces a colour tuned, high resolution image. Ultra Wide-Band Custom coating
which produces the brightest possible light by coating each lens individually to
maximize available light. This Legend 10x36 ED binocular is
configured with completely multicoated extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses for
optimum optical performance. These fluoride ED glass lenses
offer an exceptional level of wide angle viewing performance - they present
amazing colour rendition, improved resolution, and vivid contrast while
virtually eliminating chromatic aberration and colour-fringing. The resulting
views reveal distinct details that viewers with garden-variety binoculars would
miss out on.
The Legend Ultra-HD also has
an extremely wide field of view to easily view moving animals or objects and is
lightweight with a streamlined feel. Each lens is custom-coated with
Bushnell's proprietary ultra wide band A/R coating system to make the
most of light transmission across the whole visible spectrum (380-750 nm).
Anti-reflective coating process optimizes each lens' brightness and contrast
levels, while allowing colours to be rendered precisely. Finally, the exterior
lens surfaces are treated with a water repellent RainGuard HD
coating to minimize light scattering from haze, mist, fog, and rain.
