This let the use of shutter speeds up to 4 times slower, with no increase in image blur. Canon 55-250mm EF-S IS Lens employs "Automatic panning detection" which automatically turns off the "IS" Image Stabilizer in either the horizontal or vertical way when following moving focus. images. The lens is finished with "Super Spectra" lens coating for colour
