The 70-200mm f2.8 L Lens from Canon is one of the finest telephoto zoom lenses in EF line. It incorporates four (4) "Ultra Low Dispersion" UD-glass elements for correction of chromatic aberrations. Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L Lens delivers constant f2.8 maximum aperture and outstanding image excellence makes it one of the world's popular professional Single-Lens Reflex lenses. Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L Lens allows use of Extender EF 1.4x II and 2x II.



Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L Lens has the ability to offer great presentation comparable to single focal length lens with a wide zoom range. It is featured with USM (Ultrasonic Motor) ring along with built-in full-time manual focusing. The Lens offers minimum focusing distance of 1.5 m and high marginal illumination. Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L Lens is compatible with EF Extenders EF 1.4X and EF 2X, which extends the zoom range of the lens with AF to 98-280mm f/4 or 140-400mm f/5.6 respectively. Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L Lens is a wonderful high presentation telephoto zoom lens delivers high contrast, natural and sharp images.



Complementing the speed and optics is an Optical Image Stabilizer, which compensates for 3.5 stops of camera shake to better enable working handheld and in low-light situations. A ring-type USM and internal focusing mechanism also afford quick, quiet, and accurate autofocus performance, as well as full-time manual focus override. Additionally, this lens is weather-sealed for use in trying environmental conditions.
