Tokina with the launch of AT-X 840 AF Lens in 1996 has created a new class of telephoto zoom lenses. Tokina 80-400mm ATX D Lens was the smallest lens available with a bright aperture equivalent to f5.6 at 400mm focal length. Tokina has now introduced  an enhanced version of the lens to meet the challenges of the digital age in the photography industry. Tokina 80-400mm AT-X Lens is still the smallest and compact [SLR] lens available that covers the zoom distance up to 400mm. Tokina 80-400mm ATX D Lens employs internal focusing system ensure quick, smooth autofocus, with the whole internal system moves during autofocus keeps the outer lens un-changed. Tokina 80-400mm AT-X Lens is faster than all its precursor lenses. Tokina 80-400mm AT-X Lens is finished with multi-coatings applied for coping with highly reflective CCD and CMOS sensors. Tokina 80-400mm AT-X Lens has the multi layer coating for correction of flare and ghost and to deliver optimized colour balance.
