Sigma 28-70mm F/2.8-4 Zoom Lens is one of the best and ideal lens for digital SLR and 35mm SLR cameras. The induction of new multi layer lens coating and well organized lens design of Sigma 28-70mm Lens reduces flare and ghost, and also creates fine colour balance through the entire zoom range. Aspherical lens element used in Sigma 28-70mm offers terrific correction of distortion all over the entire zoom range. Sigma 28-70mm Lens's excellent performance makes it an ideal lens for Digital SLR Cameras as well as film SLR cameras. It has a large aperture of F2.8 at 28mm focal length. Sigma 28-70mm Lens is packed together and lightweight, with an overall length of 62.5mm (2.5) and weighs up to 245gm (8.6oz). Can i just use this opportunity to say what fantastic service microglobe give.
ordered this at 11am Tuesday and it arrived 7am Wednesday.
The lens itself seems very sharp, focus quickly even in low light and isn't very heavy.
I bought it as a direct replacement for the stock lens that comes with the canon 350d and this lens is far superior to that one.
I still use a eos 300v for slide work so this lens means i don't have to carry two lens' around as it fits both the film and the digital cameras.
Add the amazing price and you'll not be disappointed i don't think.
