Celestron 1.25 Inch Eyepieces and Filters Kit: The kit consists of every filter and eye piece that is necessary for astronomical observations, like study planets, moon and solar system. The filters and eye pieces are compatible with telescopes that accept 1.25" eyepieces and filters.
More light to your eye gives you enjoyment of low power, wide field views of 2 inch” eyepieces with the Celestron 2” Eyepiece & Filter Kit. It’s best way to expand the functionality and enjoyment of your telescope. As long as you have a Schmidt-Cassegrain or a refractor that sports a 2” focuser, you’re good to go. Newtonian owners can use everything except the 2” Mirror Diagonal (unnecessary with a Newtonian reflector), as long as the focuser accepts 2” accessories.
The kit consists of five superior quality eye pieces that are 4 elements designed for best performance. All eyepieces are fully multi-coated for maximum contrast and resolution. The eye pieces are 6mm, 8mm, 13mm, 17mm and 32mm. The kit consists of 2x Barlow Lens that doubles the magnifying power of the eyepiece that provides more details and clarity.
Six Coloured eyepiece filters for lunar and planetary observations are included in the kit. Kodak Wratten coloured filters #12, #21, #25, #56, #58A, and #80A are included that greatly enhance the viewing experience. A neutral density moon filter which allows maximum enjoyment of the moon especially during the brighter phases.
A durably build aluminium carrying case is provided that fits all of the included items in the die-cut foam interior for safe storage and easy transportation.
