The EclipSmart Solar Filter from Celestron is designed for 6" SCT Telescopes to safely observe the sun. Designed from the original scope's lens cap for cosy and safe fit. To increase the safety, this filter includes two 1” x 4” Velcro straps, four 1” x 1” Velcro tabs that cling to the filter to safely secure the solar filter in place. This filter blocks the 100% dangerous UV light and 99.99% of extreme light. This results in neutral colour and enhance contrasted viewing of the sun. The ISO compliant filter is made from Scratch resistant proprietary Mylar.
