Celestron Heavy Duty Tripod For CPC 1100: The tripod is build from steel tubes that adds strength and durability, and increases weight bearing capabilities. The tripod is designed specifically to work with Celestron CPC 1100 and Nextar GPS. The legs are constructed from the 2.75" diameter stainless steel that can support heavy weight scopes. In spite its steel construction, the tripod is lightweight, durable, reliable and easy in transportation. The adjustable legs design offers broad application and extra stability to the tripod. The maximum adjusted height of the tripod is nearly 55” high enough for comfortable usage. The captive leg strap keeps tripod safely and conveniently "together" during transportation. The captive folding center brace helps steady the tripod and the load and offers great protection against tripod falling. The molded accessory tray fits around legs with central shaft for additional leg support that is useful for eye piece and other accessory storage.
