Celestron LABS S20 Stereo Microscope is a
lightweight and portable microscope which is constructed with metal body.
Advanced
features such as high-quality glass optics, 2x objective lense, 10x wide field
eyepiece
and upper illuminator for detailed viewing. With 20x magnification, it is
possible to
catch every detail on objects with a maximum working distance of 2.76”. The dual
eyepiece
holders stand upright and adjust for variations in interpupillary distance
adjustment of
2.25” to 3.0" among observers. You can place a specimen on the plate and look
through the
eyepieces, and then turn the over-sized focus knob until the image is sharp.
It is ideal for biological, mineral, stamps and electronic observations. There is a choice of objective and two included pairs of wide field eyepieces 10x, which deliver a magnification 20x and enables to study samples like insects, plants, stamps, minerals, documents, coins, or electronic devices. The eyepieces have rubberized wing eyecups for improved viewing comfort. The base also has two spring-loaded clips for securely clamping down slides or samples. To add stability and precision to opto-mechanics, the body and mechanical stage plate are made of metal. It is perfect for students and hobbyists.
