The Celestron NexStar 8 SE 8" 203mm Catadioptric Telescope Kit is an Innovative and attractive telescope kit that contains tripod stand, eye piece, finder scope, diagonal and motorized alt-azimuth mount. The kit is light in weight and weighs only 15kg including tripod stand. The portable telescope features a precision optical system with 203 mm focal length at ƒ10, and provides 78% more light gathering than a 6" model.

Celestron NexStar 8 SE is an ideal telescope for observing and photographing celestial subjects. The lens elements are multi coated to maximize light transmission and reduce the glare from the elements. StarPointer finderscope helps with alignment and locating objects. Star Diagonal internal flip mirror for straight or 90° viewing angle is provided that may also be used to rapidly switch from the eyepiece to a camera without disturbing telescope alignment.

Robust, computerized alt-azimuth mount is provided that is controlled through a hand control that offers swift and smooth adjustments. Exceptionally sturdy, steel tripod is provided in the kit for long service and rapier-sharp astrophotography. NexRemote telescope control software and RS-232 cable are included for advanced control of the telescope with a PC. Flash upgrade able hand control software and motor control units by way of downloadable updates.
