Celestron Nexstar Hand Control For SE and CPC Computerized Telescopes is a lightweight and durable hand control which is compatible with Celestron SE and CPC GPS series computerized telescopes. The NexStar hand control is a standard accessory on all NexStar telescopes. The hand control automatically slew to objects in a variety of catalogs including the Messier, NGC, Caldwell, SAO brightest stars and lists of the most popular objects. With the help of NexStar Hand control, a huge database of 40,000 celestial objects can be assessed with the push of a button on hand control.

You can instruct the telescope to use a selected star or object as an alignment position. A variety of alignment procedures are pre-programmed into the NexStar Hand Controller, including SkyAlign, Auto 2-Star, 1-Star, 2-Star, and Solar System. You can also choose from a variety of tracking rates (sidereal, solar & lunar) and slew speeds. The planets as well as a list of the most popular objects are also included. This hand control includes Flash Upgradeable Technology, allowing users to upgrade its software via the Internet. RS-232 Jack allows interfacing with a computer to control the telescope remotely. The hand control displays the coordinates and useful information about the celestial objects selected from the database.
