The Celestron Nexstar RS-232 PC Interface Cable Connects motorized telescope hand controllers to laptops and PCs. Allowing the flexibility to control your telescope via an installed software program. The NextStar cable snaps via a telephone jack type plug to the computers serial port and the celestron hand control device. Any of the software updates and modifications are carried through this RS-232 1.5 meter long quick cable.

NoteMany PCs and laptops doesn’t have the built-in serial port, in that case the Celestron USB to RS-232 Converter Cable 18775 is required to connect via USB port instead. The RS 232 cable can also be used to additionally install data directly from celestron website into the Nexstar hand control
