The Celestron RACI Illuminated 9x50 Finderscope is specially designed telescope accessory for comfortable and intuitive use with Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tubes. This Right Angle Corrected Image (RACI) device makes it easier for an observer to locate a celestial body through the finderscope when the optical tube is pointed toward zenith. The RACI corrects its transmitted image so the field of view always appears upright, which enables more intuitive telescope adjustments.
In addition to the right-angle configuration and corrected image, the RACI finderscope's illuminated dual crosshair reticle helps the observer pinpoint their subject of interest and center it within the telescope's field of view. A rotating eyepiece assembly allows the observer to customize the viewing orientation, and an included dovetail mounting bracket permits easy attachment to the optical tube, making the RACI finderscope a user-friendly accessory for those stargazers operating a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.

Really well made finderscope. Very comfortable to use at all angles with the 90 degree prism. Very useful with the illuminated cross hairs to assist in centering fainter objects. Easy to set up use.
Ordered on Thursday for Friday delivery but when I checked with microglobe they hadn t dispatced. However they dispatched for Saturday delivvery with no extra cost; Result!
Thank you microglobe just shows it s worth following up on the phone.
I have now had time to try out my Celestron finder and am very pleased with it. What immediatley strikes you is the overall quality of it although it aint cheap
It is fiddly to get right initially as with most things astyronomical the makers assume you know all about it and so no instructions included but once set up should never really need adjusting. It s quite a heavy lump much heavier than the comparable Skywatcher and if you are near the limit already then bear this in mind.
Service from Microglobe was good and the price very good. All in all i would recomend this product and seller.
