Celestron StarPointer Pro Finderscope: Celestron StarPointer Pro Finderscope is designed for professional astronomer for easily locating celestrial objects at night in sky by projecting a double circle reticle to allow user to find objects without obstructing it. The circles also serves as a measuring tool while star hopping. With Celestron Star Pointer Pro, user can spend more time in stargazing and less time to center the target.

For added convenience, StarPointer Pro offers a 40 mm optical window with a large field of view. Its 40mm optical window offers a wider field of view so you can acquire targets quickly and easily. The reticle brightness can be control by the rheostat which can be attached quickly to the telescopes with a dovetail connection and finger knobs.

    Really like this. My usual finder cross hairs block my view of the star. Similarly the red dot covers the star too. Using the circle doesn t obscure the star. Result. Sighting is also two axis and dead simple.

    Very happy with the product but I found that the dual circle reticle is not visible in daylight. It s possible the supplied battery needs replacement but that s what I found when using it straight out of the box.
