Excellent service from Microglobe - received within 24 hours. Tripod adaptor - metal - does the job of securing the binoculars to the tripod. Similar reviews praise the quality and that it sturdier than a plastic adaptor and having used it with attaching my Pentax binoculars to my Manfrotto tripod I have to agree. Would recommend both the product and Micoglobe.
