For photography, you can simply remove the soft rubber eyecups from eyepiece but you have to be careful not to unscrew the top lens elements of the scope.
The Celestron Ultima series feature a T-mount threading upon the eyepiece barrel, allowing your scope to act as an ultratelephoto lens upon your SLR camera (digital or film) with just the addition of a camera-specific T-mount adapter.
