EXR AUTO scene detection with motion detection provides 103 shooting patterns.
Capture great Full-HD movies with the same camera you use for still photography,
and leave the camcorder at home. The super long zoom lens on the F770 EXR 16MP
Digital Camera White covers the equivalent of 25-500mm on a 35mm camera which
covers all focal lengths from extra wide to super telephoto. If that’s not
enough there’s a 2x Intelligent Digital Zoom option which uses the EXR processor
to extend the range to an incredible 40x, still with great image quality.
The CMOS sensor on this FinePix F770 EXR
white camera has Auto EXR technology
which chooses from 103 different shooting patterns so not just the camera but
the image sensor itself is optimised for your shooting conditions. Over previous
models there is also a 30% reduction in noise at high ISO sensitivity. EXR modes
include High Resolution priority, Wide Dynamic Range, and Low Noise.
The back of the F770EXR also impresses, sporting a higher contrast 3-inch,
wide-view 460k-dot resolution LCD. The new Monitor Sunlight Mode does what its
name suggests, making the LCD screen easier to use in very bright sunlight (this
can be assigned to the new Function button for ease of access). Out of the box
you get a basic quick start manual, with the rest on a supplied CD ROM. This
also includes the usual basic software, here FinePix Studio for Windows PCs and
FinePix Viewer for Macs.
GPS connectivity is lots more than just image tagging, with a high sensitivity
antenna, Route Log (with photos) and Photo Navigation which directs you to a
spot where a photo has been previously taken. My Landmark records and edits your
favourite place details and the camera will locate nearby famous landmarks on
your monitor complete with distance information. If you turn the camera to the
ground, this turns into a “radar” view. Like most of its travel zoom rivals the
F770EXR is made for the pocket, so there's not much of the actual camera to get
a firm grip on. There's a pronounced curve and a vertical rubber strip to the
left hand edge at the front while at the back the F770 EXR Fujifilm has
introduced possibly the first 'booty' on a digital camera.
The F770EXR
White Digital Camera records movies in Full 1080p HD quality at 30fps and with stereo
sound, for a complete movie experience. There is also a High Speed Movie mode
that records in at 320 frames per second, ideal for making slow motion action
clips.
