The lens elements used in the FinePix SL240 Red Digital Camera have been treated
with multilayer Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating), the same process used for
Fujinon broadcasting video lenses and large-format camera lenses acclaimed by
professionals. Reducing ghosting and lens flare, the treatment promises clear
image quality.
The FinePix SL240 Red
Digital Camera boasts a 3-inch LCD screen that offers 460,000 dots and
an ultra-wide 160 degree viewing angle. This means it's not only clearer to see
when composing pictures - the super-bright screens make playback and reviewing
movies and stills easier and more enjoyable. To further aid composition, the
electronic viewfinder (EVF) offers a 200,000 dots screen, so users can be
assured that they're seeing a good representation of what the camera will
capture as a still image or movie. The EVF also now benefits from the addition
of a dioptre adjustment, making it much easier for spectacle wearers to compose
the scene through the viewfinder.
Dual Image Stabilization is the combination of
high sensitivity and CCD shift image stabilization that works to eliminate
blurred photos by freezing action and minimizing blur at maximum zoom range.
Additionally to new technological features, further optimisations have been made
for faster start-up, improved speed of Auto Focus and an upgraded response time.
All this combines to make sure that users won't miss a shot. Even the power
supply of the SL240 Red
Digital Camera has been re-engineered - it runs on Lithium-ion batteries
that can capture up to 300 frames on a single charge.
