Helios Stellar II 15x70 WP Porro Prism Observation Binocular is a high quality waterproof, nitrogen filled observation binoculars, with individual eyepiece (IF) focusing designed for medium to long range terrestrial, marine and astronomical observations. The Stellar 15x70 features BaK-4 Porro Prisms and a fully broadband multi-coated optical system.
The binocular offers 70mm large sized objective lens that gathers more light and delivers sharp brighter images even at low light conditions. Due to the large size objective lens, the binocular is ideal for marine observations. The optical system features high-transmission lens and prism coatings allowing 85% light transmission.
The binocular is shockproof design incorporating a robust but lightweight magnesium alloy body construction. Eyepiece design features oversized elements with generous 20mm eye-relief and fold-down rubber eyecups for spectacle-wearers.
The binocular features integral tripod mounting bush so that long term observations are facilitated. Finished in stylish dark green and black rubber and supplied in soft storage carrying case with padded neck strap, eyepiece rain guard and captive objective lens caps. It has 56-74mm inter-pupillary adjustment to correct eye points comfortably.

I was happy to use them and in every way happy with their performance : looking at DSO deep sky objects I could spot and look at a variety of open and globular star clusters spot a few discernible neighbour galaxies M31; M81 M82 and benefit from their comfortable magnification to observe details in a variety of constellations. Many other participants have also been glad to borrow my high quality binoculars for a few minutes to discover things they still didn t know or be able to admire DSO rendered in such optical quality.
