Hoya ND Filters have been specially designed with Digital Photography. The filter helps to create a dynamic expression via a long exposure, or to prevent blown out highlights caused by over exposure. The Hoya neutral density Filter offers a light volume of 1/100th and the equivalent exposure value is 6 2/3 stops. Th filter optical density of 2.1, that creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. The filter can reduce the light volume without any changes in hue, allow even a novice photographer who is unfamiliar with slow shutter speed or iris control to make a difference in their pictures.
The filter protects front lens surface from scratches, moisture, dirt and other accidental damages. The filter is assembled using a one-piece aluminium frame creating a rigid, durable, but lightweight filter; while the glass elements are manufactured from super high quality Hoya clear optical glass to ensure edge to edge image clarity. Metallic ACCU-ND type coating is applied to the elements to ensure high light transmission and reduced reflections from the surface.
