The Metz 48 AF-1 digital
is a powerful flashgun with a numerous of settings. It generates well
exposed shots with TTL mode automatic operations. It has the ability to
measure the amount of light that fall on the subject as well as the distance
between the camera lens and the subject. These measurements are useful in
calculating the amount of flash light required for a picture. after calculating
the guide number it directs the flash unit for a specific guide number. The
guide number of Metz 48 AF-1 digital is integrated with TTL. This
functionality of Metz 48 AF-1 digital makes it easy to take pictures with
real look, better contrast and correct brightness.
Metz 48-AF-1 Shoe-Mount
flashgun with wireless flash using its slave function with
either a Metz 58 AF-1 as a master or with the camera manufacturers
own flash master. Also includes second curtain synchronization, a
modelling light and flash bracketing. A special feature included in
Metz 48 AF-1 digital is the USB connection port through which a user can
update it with new firmware. Firmware can be downloaded from internet using USB
to PC connection. So any user using Metz 48 AF-1 digital will be able to
take advantage of future improvements.
Metz 48 AF-1 features a
guide number of 48m with ISO 100 film at 105 mm and 36m at 50 mm focal length.
This guide number gives a brilliant and brighter look to the image. Metz 48
AF-1 digital is designed to work with Nikon camera in i-TTL, D-TTL,
3D flash modes and i-TTL remote mode (slave operation).
An auto zoom head from 24-105mm
can be set to match the camera's sensor. Metz 48 AF-1 has a full
bounce and swivel reflector head, full manual control with 12 partial light
output levels and an integrated wide angle diffuser for 18mm coverage. Manual
settings system is provided with Metz 48 AF-1 that output from 1/128 to
1/1 power and can be used for full creative control of your light output.
The power sources compatible
with Metz 48 AF-1 are Alkaline, NiCd, NiMH and Lithium batteries. Recycle
time is approximately 0.1-5 seconds and minimum flashes are 180 depends
on the battery condition.
