With immense pleasure Nikon announced the launch of Nikon
60MM/ED(f2.8G)-AF-S (Micro-Nikkor) Lens. It is a compact, lightweight and
versatile lens for close up photography as well as general photography. Nikon
60mm/ED(f2.8 g) is featured with nikon's exclusive S.W.M - Silent Wave Motor for
soft quiet and fast auto focus function. The new lens enjoys great reputation
with autofocus from infinity to life size magnification at 1:1.
The lens is equipped with Extra Low Dispersion (ED) lens elements in lens group
for high contrast, high quality, high resolution, and sharp images. The ED glass
is highly effective for reducing chromatic-abberations. Nikon 60mm/ED Lens also
has a pair of a-spherical elements for coping with different types of
aberrations. The lens has -IF- "Internal Focus" design for soft autofocus, where
the focus component of lens move inside the lens body, which facilitates the use
of polarizing filters, wireless closeup speedlight system and the length of the
lens remains un-changed during AF. Nikon 60mm has nano crystal coating, original
of Nikon for treatment of internal reflections. The lens has super integrated
coating for extremely natural colour balance and treatment of flare and ghost
effect. The lens is optimised for both FX and DX format_image_sensors.
