I purchased these today and have now unpacked and tried them out. The unusually wide angled view is excellent with a high resolution clean bright central image. They are a good example of Japanese optical craftsmanship . They are solidly built and at 800 grams of an above average weight for their size. The optical and mechanical standard is amazing for under £90
Excellent product, these are my first binoculars as I've just got in to birdwatching, and they are exactly what I needed. Very comfortable to use whilst wearing glasses, which was a key requirement for me.

Sharpness / chromatism:
Middle: 9/10, on board: 7/10, extreme edge: 3/10.
The picture is very clear on almost the 3/4 of the (hudge) field beyond which it degrades a little. Chromatism is very well controlled.
Weight/Dimensions: 9/10
Price/quality ratio: 9/10
In conclusion, these binoculars are simply excellent. What a good surprise at first watch !!!! What a field !!!. They are very good for all use even in astronomy.
