My review of the Nikon 7X50 mm marine sport and that I just buy from Microglobe: Mechanical / strength: 8 / 10
I only wish the plastic strap. It is unacceptable for binoculars of this price. But we can change it.
Optical quality: 7 / 10.
Fields: It is essential collapse the rubber eye if not the field will be ridiculous:
Nikon is optimistic. The field is more than 7 ° instead of 7.5 °.
Sharpness / chromaticism:
Middle: 9 / 10, on board: 5 / 10, extreme edge: 1 / 10.
The picture is very clear on the 2 / 3 of the field beyond which it degrades a little with normal 7x50mm. Chromatism is very well controlled.
Weight / Dimensions: 8 / 10
Price / quality ratio: 7 / 10
In conclusion, they are good binoculars 7x50 mm for routine use. In astronomy, they are very good.
