The new
Nikon 85mm Micro Nikkor f2.8D lens is one of the best fixed focal
length lenses offered by Nikon. It is equipped with a
tilt and shift function, which allow users the flexibility and ease of use to manipulate
image perspective, distortion and focus. Nikon 85mm has the ability of
reproduction @ 1:2 life size macro, which is superb for commercial photography.
Super Integrated Coating[SIC] is applied on the lens optical system for
excellent colour balance with close-range correction system for superior optical
performance. When used with 35mm film format, Nikon 85mm will offer coverage
127.5mm. The lens is equipped with distance information, which transfer
information to camera body for 3D metering. With multiple added features, the
Nikon 85mm has built-in CPU that transmits effective aperture values to camera
body, which helps in exposure determination.
