Customer Reviews on Nikon 8X42 Monarch 7 ED WP Roof Prism Binoculars
Review by Phillip Scott, 25/04/2013, Customer Rating:

The binoculars are a good weight and comfortable to hold - the images seen through the lens are impressively sharp and focusing is easy. The binoculars demonstrate Nikon s understated style with subtle positioning of the "Nikon" logo on the body and strap. The binoculars come with a smart black protective carrier which was a pleasant surprise as no reference to it was made in the details advertised. I can fully recommend this product.
Best regards

I had looked at the predecessor to the Nikon Monarch 7 binoculars and was about to buy when the 7 was announce. At that stage I thought the price was too high and have been tracking the prices until I spotted Microglobe Ltd offering them at a very fighting price. I had decided on the 8 x 42 instead of the 10 x 42 as I primary wanted to use the binoculars in woodland and the countryside where I had read the extra light of the 8’s were an advantage my hands are not too steady either when was another factor. Now I have them I am absolutely delighted and have made the right choice well worth the wait.
I placed my ordered lunchtime received an email acknowledgment another email to advise that it was being processed a shipping advice and finally a tracking number all in under 3 hours!
Royal Mail delivered the parcel the next day 24 hours after the order was placed!
Can’t fault anything Microglobe did excellent!

Though I m yet to take these out on a big trip so far I am very pleased with their feel weight the clarity of the glass especially in low light where they excel. Also Microglobe s price was very appealing. I use them for birdwatching and their field of vision is very helpful when picking out smaller birds from flocks and in studying larger flocks. Recommended.

i have the monarch 5 10x42 and while im not dissapointed with them they feel like im looking down a thinish tube so iwould recommend these m7s in 8x42 only because you have 28.1 brightness in 8x42 and this drops to 17.6 if you choose the 10x42 also the field of view in 8x is awesome.sorry this is not strictly a review just a bit of advice if you not sure wheather you want 10x or 8x

Monarch 7 Bins .
I have a pair of Monarch 3 8x42 and a pair of Monarch 5 10x42.
These Monarch 7s are Head and shoulders above the 5s. Great bright image , easy to focus , easy to hold . the 3s gave great service , but eye cup issues and of course the covers to caused
slight problems , but again a great image .
I have been trying to think How Nikon could improve the 7s in perhaps a 9 range . when I think of something I shall let you know .
Superb Image , fantastic to use , I wont ever start my car without having them in the seat beside me .
you wont get a better image at a better price anywhere ,
thanks Microglobe .
