Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F/1.4G Lens with
Built-in Motor
Nikon Corporation has announced today a new upcoming standard lens called
"Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.4G Lens" on celebrating 75-years of producing
excellent optical equipments. This Nikkor lens is manufactured using one of the
finest quality glass optics. Nikon 50mm AF-S Lens features the new built in
Silent_Wave_Motor-(SWM) which is completely compatible for fast and precise
autofocusing with
Nikon D40x and
Nikon D60 Digital SLR Cameras.
To produce one of the best image quality, Nikon 50 mm AF-S Nikkor lens is
designed with new latest technology optical system-(8 elements and 7 groups lens
construction). This master piece of lens is considered to be an essential tool
for professional photographers.
Nikon AF-S F1.4G 50mm Nikkor
lens generates outstanding results with more attractive blur background. This
blur background emphasises the main subject of the picture, which is possible
because of Nikon's new type of circular aperture diaphragm designed especially
for this Nikkor 50mm lens. This lens also features a fast maximum aperture of
f/1.4 with shallow depth of field. Coma and chromatic aberrations are corrected.
These aberrations usually cause distortion and vignetting, due to which
resulting images are not bright and also have less contrast.
The use of exclusive Silent Wave Motor - (SWM)
by Nikon enables fast, precise and accurate AutoFocusing-(AF) operation.
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.4G lens
is equipped with two focusing modes. The users can switch between Auto focusing
mode and manual focusing mode easily. It produces spectacular shots in dim and
low light conditions and also perfect for general wildlife and travel
photography. Easy to handle due to its compact size and light weight.
Usually, normal lens whose optics are not
coated, produce images with ghosting and flare. This ghosting and flare usually
occurs due to reflection of light inside the lens. But, Nikon loyal users are
not to be worried about ghosting and flare, because Nikon coated the optics of
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.4G lens
with superior quality "Nikon Super Integrated Coatings-(SIC)". These special
type of coatings eliminates the reflection of light inside the lens. Hence,
Nikon 50mm gathers more light due to large aperture and these coatings helps in
transforming maximum light through to the camera with out reflection. The
resulting pictures are sharp and bright with greater colour consistency.
Nikon 50mm AF-S Nikkor lens also features
greater close focusing upto 1.5 ft which is quite helpful to do photography of
small objects with greater detail. The rounded 9-Blades diaphragm construction
helps to deliver images of out-of-focus elements with more natural appearance.
Nikon AF-S Nikkor F1.4G is ideal master piece of lens for traveling and general
photography in various types of conditions. This compact lens of Nikon Inc.
continues the traditions of Nikkor lenses which always provide its users
versatile and outstanding new products.
Traditionally, 50mm lens has been the most
favourite lens among the professional photographers for generations.
Professional enthusiasts always appreciated the excellent picture quality and
low-light ability of accurately engineered 50mm lens.
