Description of Nikon Attachment Adapter for Coolpix Cameras to Spotting Scope Nikon Attachment Adapter will allow you to attach your Nikon Digital Camera to a Nikon Spotting Scope, in order to photograph using the Spotting Scope as a lens to record super-telephoto images. In addition to the Nikon Attachment Adapter, you will need a Specific Digital Camera adapter for the Coolpix Digital Camera model you will be using.
Vignetting occurs on the wide-angle side with Nikon COOLPIX cameras; you should use Nikon Attachment Adapter at the telescopic setting. When using the Nikon COOLPIX 880, vignetting may occur even at a telescopic setting. For superior photographic results, using an Nikon MC-EU1 Cord with a relatively large tripod is recommended. Nikon Universal Mounting Bracket is also available for using your Digital Camera with the Spotting Scope.
