Nikon GP-N100 GPS Unit Black For Nikon 1 Cameras: Nikon GP-N100 GPS Unit is a lightweight and durable device that is compatible with Nikon 1 V1 mirror less digital cameras. It record location information directly with the data of photos taken with a Nikon 1 V1, V2, or V3 camera by attaching this black GP-N100 GPS Unit. It mounts directly into the hot shoe of the camera, which also provides power, and then it can record latitude, longitude, altitude, and a universal time. The GPS updates once per second and has an accuracy of 33'. Also, it can acquire satellites in 3 seconds with a hot start and 40 seconds with a cold start. When connected to a computer using its supplied USB cable, the GP-N100 can use resources provided by Nikon servers to reduce the time needed to acquire GPS data. Additionally, it has a USB interface for updating the firmware and GPS files.

Note: Not equipped with a battery, power is supplied from the camera. Refer the camera user guide for more information on assisted GPS.
