Originally ordered the Nikon HS-7 from another supplier to fit my AF 105mm f/2.8D micro Nikkor lens however I was not happy with the spring loaded connector and the way it mounted to the 52mm filter thread. This Nikon HN-23 bought as a replacement is excellent Somewhat larger it moints using the 62mm thread pn the existing fixed hood.
An excellent price branded Nikon product and quick delivery - thanks Microglobe!

A company that fixes a problem before the customer knows there is one is something special.

On the morning of Thursday 6th August I ordered 2 HN-23 lens hoods to put on my Fuji 55-200 and 90mm lenses after seeing a post about them on the same lenses on DP Review.

I went out on the Friday as I wasn t expecting delivery before the Saturday at the earliest. When I came home I found an attempted to deliver note from the postman so went to the sorting office on the Saturday morning and picked up the parcel from Microglobe. On arriving home I found that only one lens hood was in the parcel and rang Microglobe I spoke to a very nice lady who told me that they were already aware of the error and that the second one had been dispatched. It arrived in that morning s post!

This was the only place I could find this lens hood for a sensible price! Who would pay £44 for a ring of metal?? The delivery was fast too. Thanks.
