Nikon Laser Forestry 550 / Hypsometer
Rangefinder is reasonably priced and rugged, this precision
rangefinder/hypsometer provides precise range, height, and angle measurements.
First Target Priority Mode (FTPM) let you to range small objects and get an
immediate reading. Distant Target Priority Mode (DTPM) displays the range to the
farthest target among the targets measured. The Nikon Forestry 550 features 6 x
magnifications and provides quite a few measurement readout options including
Real distance, angle compensated distance (horizontal distance), angle
(degrees), and height. Results are displayed in yards, meters, or feet. Nikon
Laser Forestry 550 featuring both an internal display and an external LCD
display, reading the measurement data is simple. The Forestry 550 is
waterproof and comes complete with a field case, quick start guide, and battery.
