I puchased a nikon MB-D200 battery grip off yourselves last week, all I can say is that I was amazed at the next day delivery considering I live on the Isle of Man. The product is great, its given my old D200 a new lease of life. the microglobe website was easy to order off & delivery was prompt and well wrapped. couldn't ask for anything more.
This is a very handy gadget to get hold of.
The extra battery life when out shooting all day is a god send because you don't have to keep changing batteries in/out all the time.
With the battery grip you also get a very handy device that lets you put 6xAA batteries in instead of the re-chargable cartridge type.
When you first use the grip you have to remove the original battery cover from the camera body, which you can then slide inside the battery grip so as not to loose it.
There is an on/off switch for the buttons on the grip so you can't take shots or alter your settings by accident.
If you have hands like a gorilla like me it's a good size and fits the hand very well.
It does make the camera a lot heavier but it is a sacrifice worth making, because the advantage of extra battery life and extra grip.
As with all Nikon gear it feels well built and robust, it'll deffinately handle anything and everything you could ever wish to throw at it.
