It converts the 10-pin system of the D1 Series,
Nikon D100 via MB-D100,

Nikon F100, Nikon
F90, Nikon F90x,
cameras to the 2-pin system found on the MD-4 Motor Drive & other combinations.
Nikon MC-25 Adapter Cord is used in conjunction with the
Remote Cord MC-12A/12B, Radio Control Set MW-2 and Modulite Remote Control Set
ML-2 to provide compatibility with the 10-pin system cameras.
