The New Nikon 10x42 Mark
III is a very high-performance binoculars with better ergonomics, 10x
magnification lets you close in on your target with confidence. Nikon’s
dielectric high-reflective multilayer coating enables superior light
transmission yields crisp image, even at high magnification of 10.
The O-ring seal makes it
waterproof and nitrogen gas make them fog-free. The tough body design boasts
rubber armoured for reliable performance and a comfortable grip. Nikon
Dielectric 10x42 Mk3 is extremely portable, these lightweight (620 grams)
binoculars are ideal for nature and star watching.
The 10x42 Monarch has
eye relief of 15.5 mm, which is bit on the short side. The eyecups twist up to
full extension and click-stop both there and in fully closed position to lock
them in place, preventing accidental collapse in the field. The mechanism is so
facile that the eyecups are not stable in partially open position, so this is an
all-or-nothing mechanism. The eyecups are made of pliable rubber, and are
comfortable against the face. The dioptre adjustment is on the right barrel and
traditional: it is a rubber ring that twists in either direction to adjust the
focus of the right ocular. The mechanism is stiff enough to prevent it from
slipping much in the field.
