Nissin Di700 Air Flashgun is a lightweight,
compact and portable flashgun with Air 1 Commander that offers user friendly
operation panel and variety of functions. The Nissin Air System utilizes 2.4GHz
radio transmission with a coverage area of 98’ without need of line-of-sight.
The flash itself has impressive specs with a zoom range of 24-200mm, which can
be expanded to 16mm with the built-in diffusion panel. The flash head rotates
horizontally 180° to right and left, tilts up to 90° and expanded 7° of
downward tilt, which is suitable for close up photography. It makes bounce
shooting more arbitrary with more angles that can be used. The
Air 1 Commander
can control the power and zoom setting for flashes in 8 channels and 3 groups as
well as transmit exposure compensation settings from -2EV to +2EV. The colour LED
control panel provides view settings and make adjustments as well as an AF
assist beam for focusing in low light conditions. Transmission channels and
radio transmission IDs can be set to prevent misfiring in the event of signal
interference on the same channel. High-speed sync is supported with a maximum
sync speed of 1/8000 second along with compatibility for slow, 1st & 2nd curtain
sync modes. Air 1 is capable of firing flash at a rate of 10 flashes per second
and runs on 2 x AAA batteries.
