Opticron Verano BGA 8x42 HD Roof Prism Binoculars are the general purpose
birdwatching and wildlife observational binocular with excellent low light
capability with 8x magnification and large depth of field to provide a high
level of performance. Binocular has lightweight magnesium body of 739g.The outer
body of binocular is covered with rubber coatings which will protect them from
scratches and small bumps and helpful with grip when wet, makes them dampen down
sounds and also makes the pair of optics less reflective.
Opticron 8x42 Verano BGA High Definition (HD) Roof Prism Binoculars are fully
sealed and are waterproof to a depth of 3m.All air inside them replaced with dry
nitrogen gas, which helps to prevent fogging of the lenses in areas of high
humidity or when you get rapid temperature changes. Opticron 8x42 Roof Prism
Verano BGA HD Binoculars has an excellent 21mm of eyerelief which is enough for
most eyeglass wearers to use them without the need to take off their glasses.
The twist-up mechanism on the eyecups has one intermediate stop between fully
extended and fully retracted; this will help people who wear glasses to get the
right amount of eye relief in order to get the full field of view.
Non-eyeglass wearers will just use the eyecups in the fully extended position.
With the Opticron 8x42, the minimum distance that you can focus on an object is
2m. Focusing from near to far (or vice versa) is fairly quick with the help of
wide wheel focusing system. F-type coatings include anti-reflective coatings in
order to maximize colour contrast in poor light.
