OVL 16mm ExtraFlat Wide-Angle Eyepiece is a wide-field eyepiece that offers high-level eye comfort. Its apparent 60-degree field of view allows the observer to view more sky objects at a time. It has anti-reflection multi-coated optics and folding soft twisted-up rubber eyecups for viewing comfort and to exclude extraneous light. This eyepiece is useful for higher power observations of the Moon and Planets. It's long 17mm eye relief offers a wide-angle field of view for spectacle wearers. Its body is finished with high-gloss anodized aluminium with knurled rubber grips. The optical design removes peripheral field curvature so you can enjoy a flat, distortion-free image of the centre-to-edge of the field with excellent sharpness, contrast and rendition.
