The Pentax 16X50 were delivered promptly and at reasonable cost. Value for money is very good. The packing was somewhat worn however this has not stopped the binos doing their intended job.
They are for use as gereral purpose high mag binos. I have seen the rings of Saturn through them -- Better with a tripod as the images from stars are affected by hand shake.
Terrestrial use is fine but again a tripod is useful. I now know that 16 X 50 binos work well but have drawbacks i.e The problem of handshake makes this magnification binocular less than perfect.
Perhaps 12X50 would have sufficed and been a better all rounder. However "MicroGlobe" are a good supplier. Less expensive than the opposition by a considerable margin, 30% cheaper than all the others I could find.

WHAT CAN I SAY , other than what a FANTASTIC SERVICE , within 24 hours of placing my order with you i was looking at my garden , and surrounding fields through my newly purchased" EXCELLENT PENTAX 16x50 XCF binoculars ", they are a GREAT BUY, and for the COST , YOU WERE BY FAR THE CHEAPEST ON THE INTERNET, " YOU CANT BETTER THAT" so gentlemen , your efficiency was exemplary, keep up the good work ! ( PS, prior to finding your site , i had just about trawled through EVERY OTHER DEALER first )
