With a vertical shutter-release button, preview lever, two control dials, AE-lock button and green button, the Pentax D-BG2 makes vertical-position shooting simple and effortless. The D-BG2 battery grip also features the same dust-proof, weather resistant construction as the K10D camera body.
The Pentax D-BG2 offers additional power to ensure maximum shooting time for the K10D camera while it's in continuous use. The D-BG2 battery grip attaches a second, high-capacity D-Li50 Li-Ion battery (sold separately) to the camera, and features as well an additional shutter release, an adjusting dial for selecting aperture or shutter speed, and other functional controls, making the Pentax D-BG2 particularly practical when shooting vertically.
