The lens provides a versatile and practical range for wide-angle to standard length shooting. High grade multi layer HD coating is applied to improve light intensity and deliver bright, high contrast, clear images with reduced flare and ghosting. The lens offers maximum aperture of f/2.8 the lens is effective in low light and provides shallow depth of field. The Quick-Shift Focus System allows instant switching from auto focus to manual focus operation. An additional special Protecting coating is applied to the front lens element to effectively protect it from dirt, oil, and finger prints. The lens is equipped with nine-blade diaphragm at the wide apertures that offers optimal optical performance out-of-focus quality when working with selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques. A weather-resistant construction incorporates five weather seals to protect against moisture for working in inclement conditions.
