The Nikon SC-29 TTL Cord, which mounts to the Camera's hot shoe, enables an attached Nikon SB-900, SB-800 or SB-600 flash to accurately auto focus in low light when placed on a flash bracket, for beautiful shadow less lighting.
The Nikon SC-29 TTL Cord incorporates a new AF Illuminator at the mounting point that overrides the Nikon SB-800 or SB-600's AF Illuminator, completely eliminating any possibility of auto focus discrepancies when using the Nikon SB-800/600 off camera.
In addition, the Nikon SC-29 TTL Cord and the Nikon SB-800 Quick Recycling Battery Pack can be used as an off camera master controller in a Multi-Flash Set-up
A new feature is: Posi-Lock (an improved locking switch) at both ends, and the cord on the camera shoe that now connects parallel to the camera
